A note to one of the other participants in the Seminar:
Hi Mary,
My girls are 13 &15... Tomorrow I will explore things they can do together when I am busy...
I,m sure everyone is getting anxious as I was. It really is no big
deal...but it is cool here a WELCOME relief after the humid hot days we
suffered South of Boston. When the girls and I went out to get groceries
I wore my jeans and a 3 quarter sleeve and sweater and of course flip
flops! I wouldn't wear those to do a long day trip however.
Now we just have to adjust to the time change and get over the jet lag.
The girls are having a nap now. My younger one was unruly by "noon time" here...7 our time.
I tried to lie down for a bit but the maintenance men were
slamming doors below doing work on the other apartments getting ready
for more "Americans" to arrive this week. I needed the space with my
girls but I'll bet the B&B's are a lot more ...shall I
say,..."luxurious". The beds here are eh...I feel those springs when I
lie on mine...Then there is the hot water, seems to run out very
quickly.
How spoiled we are! Either way its great to finally be here and getting settled. :-)
Yours,
Lynsey
