My group went to visit Primary school St Patricks today... All boys Catholic school
we had a few teachers share info and Principle tell us about the school
After coffee we were supposed to sit in a Session with teachers in a more small group-like setting however it wasnt that organized so I saw an opportunity to sneak out an "skip class" HA HA! !!!!!!!
The highlight of the morning was this sweet adorable secondary level girl who came and performed for us and explained a bit of history of Irish Music
I went over to Eyre Square and got a container to bring a salad for lunch when I have school. Then went to the store like Walmart again and bought a sin dress since I dont have much to wear for the HEAT we are now enjoying
Below is a photo of me doing my shopping

Look at the American cuties I happened to bump into in Eyre Square on their way to get the 401 to Salt Hill!!
I got back to meet my group in the classroom at NUI a little late as I had been walking all voer the place and picking up more groceries.
The afternoon presenter is the President of the college, Nollaig Mac Congail gave us a 1 hour leacutre on an overview of the History of Ireland and how education came into Ireland... etc
In a nutshell Irish people have struggled for many many years.. The great Famine was and still is the biggest human tragedy on the Western world leading to the many emigrating to America, namely the city of Boston Ny and Chicago. This was really only meant to be a temporary solution, our real home is still here in Ireland. The Irish Culture and language in which we get our Identity is in danger of being lost. Currently only 5 out of 32 Counties speak Gaelic which add up to only 10,000 people. Literacy although good for growth destroys Oration which is what the Irish tradition is passed down.
At the end of the lecture the Professor stated that what makes the Irish who they are is their creativity and personality! SO TRUE!
After class I walked over the Bridge on N6 as usual to see people swimming in the River. I dont know what the actual temp was but it felt like about 85... It was awesome
Thought this was pretty cool:
